Is there any where else other than the seat belt mounting to use as a good earth thats already there

Going to be installing my sub and amp into my b5.5 today. Where has everyone routed their live wire from the battery?
Any easy places to go through the bulkhead?

Quick question
I have a y plate b5.5 sport and I was wondering is there any little mods I can do with vag com.
I.e locking when setting off driving, dash clock sweep when ignition turned on, needle illumination when the lights are off etc
