Re: Hunting Idle When Cold - 2.0TDi
Just me then I guess!!! FFS Not an easy one to diagnose especially without any codes. This is where competent mechanics use live data to check values during a cold start to see if anything looks out of spec. There is a way that VCDS / VagCom can log live data I believe which may help someone pinpoi...

Hunting Idle When Cold - 2.0TDi
Hi all, The Mrs' Passat has recently started running rough as hell in idle when cold. Take it out for a drive, get some heat in it and ticks over a treat. Performance is not affected hot or cold, just the idle. Run VAGCOM and no codes stored, EGR functioning correctly, all injectors coded correctly ...

Re: Underpowered After New Injectors
Hi Bandenman
The mechanic that refitted them only had a snap-on tool and not VAGCOM, does that mean that this may not have been done correctly??
If this is the case, what do I need to do with VCDS to achieve this? Any chance of a step by step on this so I can do it?
Cheers bud

Underpowered After New Injectors
Hi all, Just recently had new injectors on our 2009 2.0TDi Highline 140. Had the entire injection system replaced after the pump shredded itself on the motorway and took out everything else downstream of that! New pump, rail, pressure regulator, injectors, etc., system fully flushed too. Anyway, new...

all 4 injectors are away for test/rebuild and the rail has been flushed with open ends. Here's hoping it fixes the issue!

Re: 2.0TDi Not Starting After Breakdown
Yep, got the system full and the rail has good pressure. Mechanic believes 3 of the 4 injectors are goosed due tot he spectacular fail of the pump. No codes on vag-com either, therefore all is pointing to injector failure

2.0TDi Not Starting After Breakdown

It was identified as high pressure fuel pump so this has been replaced, however it won't start at all!! Got fuel to the rail and to the injectors so the pump is now wor...

Anyway, 2 main questions; 1 - Can I buy a secondhand key and recode it or do I need a new one? 2 - Will I be able to code a key w...

Long Clutch Pedal Travel
Hi there,
Could anyone advise me on the following: 2009 TDi Highline 2.0, long clutch pedal travel to get the clutch to disengage?! It engages fine and doesn't slip, therefore I was thinking slave cylinder? Is it possible to bleed the system?
TIA

Highline iPhone Won't Connect
Its a 2009 (59) Highline Estate, with DAB and bluetooth phone interface. The car can see the phone but then displays a message stating device is not compatible when i try and connect!!
Is this something that can be fixed or am I never going to be able to connect our phones to the new car?!
