Strangely enough I've just changed my window cleaner from a 'car brand' to a regular Mr Muscle glass cleaner and it's made a huge difference.
I guess my previous cleaner wasn't very good and the moisture was settling on the 'dirt' and taking longer to clear.

Re: Where is the pollen filter?
If anybody needs to know, I found it behind the glovebox, 5 mins to change when you know how. Open glovebox, on left hand side there is a 'stopper' that stops the hinge fully opening. Push the 'stopper' up and the glovebox lid will fully drop open to reveal fuses and cabin filter cover. Cover has 6 ...

Where is the pollen filter?
My windscreen takes an age to demist in the morning and sometimes even mists up whilst driving. Air con is always on and the setting is never in recirc mode. It's an SE Business so doesn't have climate control. My thoughts are that the pollen filter is wet and blocked and needs changing. They are so...

Adaptive Cruise Control in Europe
What happens with ACC when in Europe? In the U.K., when you indicate right to overtake, it automatically speeds up if it has slowed the car down. Likewise, the car won't 'undertake' unless I put some pressure on the accelerator to go past the other car. In Europe, does the car know from the GPS that...

Re: Keeping the key in your pocket when leaving the car runn
On very cold mornings I will start my car and then go back into the house to finish getting ready for work. The car continues to run as you would expect. Not sure what would happen if somebody tried to move the car but I know from friends with older cars with keyless ignition that they have had no ...

Apple Carplay
I have a 2015 SEB with Discover navigation but it's very poor.
Can I retro fit Apple CarPlay (is it just by entering a code?) and if I can, is CarPlay any good?
Thanks in advance.

Car net online traffic
Hi, I've just got a 2.0 SEB estate and would like to know how good the routing of the discover navigation is and also how good the carnet online traffic? With previous cars, I've never found them much good so have used the tomtom go app which has traffic, speed cameras and (as far as I'm concerned) ...

Update discover software
Hi, Just collected a 2015 BSE and I've updated the maps but I don't believe the software was updated. How is that done? For the map update, I just downloaded the files from the VW website and overwrite the SD card. I assumed it also included the software update but it didn't. Any advice most welcome.
