140 tdi s, 05/55, 98 k miles, oil pump and turbo went at 82k miles,(bought car less than 5k miles b4) cost over £2500 at my expence, ive owend many vws and can defo say this will b my last, nothing but continual problems, stearing colum lock light now on, whitch wont b cheep, customer care and serv...

bit of a bummer i find out 2 late abt the recall, after many problems wth my b6, the pump and turbo went on my car, whitch i had to replace at my own cost defo wasnt cheep, and wznt covered under warrenty, also sence a wiring problem that ive not yet had it looked at, seat belt warning, bulb out war...

i payed £7,700 just over a year ago,
had 88k miles, 2.0tdi S,
sports leather, parking sensors, dvd nav, n every other concievable extra,
well chuffed, get it re-mapped and prepair to grin, lol.

55 plate 2.0 tdi 140, remapped to around 180ish,
ave got a pretty heavy foot, and for £40 a seem to get 230/240 odd miles,
mostly around town, tryed conventional deisel and v-power, wasnt much of a difrence,
only thing with the v-power the car seems to run smother and its more responsive,

ohhhh a dilema,
mmmmm hard 1,
wife in the boot sounds good, bt not practical,
could also leave her at home to look after the weans,
or better still sell a twin........... whts the need 4 2 lol,
ull never live in peace if u decide to sell the b6,

i recently had a few major problems wth my b6,

found a place that will do an extended warranty n covers pretty much everything,
payed just under £300 for 13 months, (warranty direct) and i thought that wz dear.......
£500 seems a bit steep, so id shop arround, 4 a better deal,

must b a comon prob (another 1) wth the passat. i also have a wet drivers footwell, 2.0 tdi 55reg have yet to source the problem, although after driving in the torrenchal rain for over an hour i noticed a small drip coming from the sunvisor from round the screw that holds the visor on2 the headlinin...

alright buddy. mine remapped by power-tune scotland, if am correct, there in the ml3 area, bothwell rd, just at strathclyde park, think he charges around £280/300, although a managed to haggle him down a bit, friend of a friend quoted me £230, previously, so he matched it, guy knows wht hes talkin...

84,000 miles, i have owned this car since 78,000 miles,
dont know if any preious recalls were done but recently had to buy a oil pump + mecanism and a new turbo,
cost almost

just recently got my b6 140tdi remapped,
what a diffrence, would highly recomend it,
think the powers up 2 182bhp,

i recently had the same problem with my b6,
over the course of a few weeks the noice wz getting louder,
turns out the turbo was on the way out which it eventually went,
had 2 get a new turbo whitch wasnt cheep,
id defo get yours checked out asap,
hope its some help,
