I will check it next time I go over some speed bumps,I have only noticed it on slow speed turning ie on the drive
or in Waitrose car park.

had the Passat TDI Highline estate,10 reg,for about 5 months now and quite pleased with it.Not as sure footed on the corners as my old Volvo V40 estate but I didn't buy it to go fast round corners so will live with this.
However , it has developed a very strange 'creaking' noise from the front end ...

good idea,I will get Mrs T to turn the wheel and have a listen under the bonnet.

just bought a 2010 2.0 TDI Highline estate with 106K on the clock.
All seems good apart from a strange groaning noise when you turn the steering wheel whilst parking or at slow speed,sounds like it's coming from behind the bulkhead.
Anyone got any ideas as what might be causing it?
