My dad had an A4 with the 2.5 tdi engine, while it sounded good for a diesel and went well it did as others have said cost more to run and maintain. Also after selling it and getting an a4 1.9 130 tdi he said the 1.9 was a better drive.

I replaced both rear calipers this weekend as the handbrake mechanism had sized both sides. It's nice to have a fully working handbrake again.
