Hi,

About to have clutch and flywheels put in the b5 passat. 5 speed manual engine code ATJ.

Can anyone confirm the torque settings for the flywheel to shaft and flywheel bolts and pressure plate etc.

TIA

Re: B5 Passat PD115

So recenty checked my power steering fluid level and it was below minimum, on this assumption that it had not been topped up or changed in a while it was time to flush it out. So here is the level it had been sitting out.. https://c5.staticflickr.com/1/336/31242230484_d64142a4fa_c.jpg It was below t...

Flushed out my power steering fluid today. Well needed.

Whatever it was in there was dirty and the wrong colour and looked a touch watery.

I add the costs of a full service and cambelt change on a 2nd hand car in this day and age. So many people dodge service requirements.

No receipt? He may as well just told you it had not been done.

If you don't want the full VCDS then a £5 cable off the bay will do the same as a £40 cable, you can install without a cd but might need to copy to a USB or download online. Look at VCDS Lite Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk Google or on ebay?? Isit worth soending the extra 35ish pound? I'm no...
