Interested in hearing your exhaust for sure
I need to start putting some parts together to go for the same brake set up as you. Shame I will have to change driveshafts by the looks of it though having the PD115 B5 - or can I do just the CV joints too?

The choice of cameras is astounding. I wouldn't know where to start. A friend of mine bought a Nikon d3200 or something. It's heavier than I expected but pic look good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk It all comes down to budget really. A lot of the level entry cameras all do the same thing with...

I have seen mates run a lot more stretch than that and the car feels fine.

Passat B5 bulb list
Does anyone have a list of all the bulb types in a B5.
Need to start collecting a bunch of bulbs for an overhaul.
Exterior and interior ideally (including ashtray & glovebox etc)

Re: B5 Passat PD115
That's a long list of jobs right there, it would take me a whole weekend to do them. If not longer. I would definitely go with a dmf it absorbs the vibrations better plus you should be getting anything upto 100k miles from a LUK or Sachs kit. [emoji6] Obviously dependant on how you drive. Some peop...

There are loads of nice 17" alloy wheels but with lowering I think they can look too small. 18/19" is ideal for me.
Love the wheels though

So not much going on except loving driving my car! MPG seems better and power smoother since the blank. My wiring loom for the cruise control still hasn't turned up so that's annoying! Question for you guys, I am thinking about removing the inlet manifold to clean it out properly, I assume its easy...

Noticing my Brake Fluid to be dropping quote rapidly. Located this to the NSR where I have noticed a couple of times now a wet patch by the rear tyre when left overnight.
Have ordered 2 rear brake hoses from TPS and will get them fitted ASAP.

I can confirm the side mirror adjustment works like that on all b5 passats. The right adjustment will move both sides and the left is independent. The heating elements in my car take a bit of time to work. When the weather gets colder it will be easy to see if they work. Looking at the code for the...

Too high of a percentage of cars sold from new are diesel fuelled. It will take decades to get them all off the road. I quote once a week atleast for DPF systems, I work for Nissan. Parts amd labour is unreal and not many people have that money laying around. On the other hand people shouldnt be buy...

Re: B5 Passat PD115
I love ambers! Shame that seemingly no modern car have them. As for the tracking, it is a can of worms you have opened. I'd look closely at the inner suspension arm bushes. If the car is on its original arms they are probably well past it. It is something every B5 & B5.5 owner has to face soone...
