Think I need to swat up on all this technology in headunits before I buy one (how old do I feel,still using a cd player in my camper).any more info should make my decision easier thanks

Did you have any issues fitting it in your b5 passat ?

I have a b5 passat and would like to change my headunit to a unit which has a screen,dab and Bluetooth. I was wondering has anyone used the following headunit in there b5.it's a xtrons td699dab 6.96.bit of a long shot I know but thought I would ask before I buy it

I recently replaced my holder on a 2000 tdi. £5.50 from dealership and some long nose pliers sorted it.bit fiddly but make sure all of old plastic is off and the new will fit nice and tight

I had the same problem of low temp reading last week.I replaced both coolant temp sensor and thermostat and it worked spot on.the dashboard reading now sticks at 90 degrees once warm.worth doing now as it's one job less to do before the real grim weather kicks in!
