Ive a b5.5 wagon and now ive polished the plastic lenses ive now got a beam pattern and slightly brighter headlights but compaired to my wifes Lupo GTi with xenons my lights are like candles on the country lanes I drive.......

Had the very same problem on my passenger front door on my 55plate. When I bought the car the door wouldnt open from either inside or out. I couldnt find a way in with causing damage so just waited. Wagon had MOT today and passed ok but I was told the brake pedal is sinking.....

Has anyone else had this ?
What could cause it ?
Its had new pads and discs all round and a brake fluid change with 5.1 fluid about 3 months ago.

Its a 55plate 100 hp avb engine.

Any ideas peeps ?

Ive fitted the hecko ones to my b5.5. Just fit them in position with the clips as shown, carefully do the window up and hold them out as the glass gets to the top so they dont hit. Close the windows fully and pull the deflectors out/away from the glass. This settles them into postion and my windows ...

Ok ive a 5.5 with a AVB engine and 174k on the clock. no°1 Is it normal for alot of engine oil to be leaking from the holes in the EGR valve ? It leaks over the flexi joint of the exhaust..... Can the valve be blanked off at all ? no°2 What grade & how much gearbox oil does it take ? Thanks on...

This is the problem In having. Ive been told that Ive 3 motors down and its dash out to replace 2 of them. Ive got the red one v68 out and opened it up, powered the motor, that moves the arm and I also checked the feedback of the winding tracks that give me clear and unbroken measurment. This is why...

All the chrome is dull and doesn't seem to clean up very well.
Am thinking of loosing it all and going black.........
Has anyone done this & if so how ? Painted ? Vinyl covering ?

The door finally opened the other day, sometimes would lock/unlock ok or wont unlock or lock.
Then deadlocked closed again for a couple of days and has now opened again !!

As you said, I will buy a secondhand unit and hope for the best......
