Found someone who bought that battery for half the price using discounts.

So the battery cost is sorted,, however if i use a battery like this with 70ah value as opposed to the original 68ah, apparently i need to get it coded to the car so that the car manages the charging of the battery correctly.

How did the battery replacement go? the battery on my 1.6 B7 Passat needs replacing me thinks. Hi dubber, yes software update was carried out a few months back.
Going by the reviews on the update it seems its just a matter of time before the EGR dies.
Jed, would the faulty sensor not throw a fault code? Might explain why the engine fan blows so much tho.

Noticed random problem with my tdi.

Pull up to a standstill so car is idling.

Revs pulse from 900rpm to 1200rpm....

Odd.

Car has had the ecu update.

Also noticed cooling fan running after turning off quite often. Even on short 5 minute runs up the road.

+1 on the Auyoglym green slime. Used that on and off for years on externals. MUST remember to shake vigorously every time tho otherwise, as mentioned you get the wrong consistancy.

U can play from usb without problems. Its only from dvd. No problem. Just a little annoying.

Why would playing dvds be illegal on an android head unit?
