Has anybody wired in a dash cam to a Passat? I'm thinking that I may be able to either run a wire from the fuse box into the cabin, along the A pillar to near the rear view mirror, or take a feed from the console in the roof. I specified the sound insulating glass on my R Line, it has the 19" Verona wheels which do add a bit extra road noise but at motorway speeds it's pretty quiet if I'm honest.

OP - You've already created the entries in the FAT relating to the the (now deleted) number of excessive files. I can hear the difference between 192/320/FLAC on my personal MP3 player with some half decent Sennheiser headphones but I'm not that impressed with the quality of the standard audio system in the car, it doesn't seem to handle bass that well but I tend to listen to talk stations on the radio mostly...

Nope - the Pro unit only plays up to 320k but, unless you've specified the Dynaudio speakers, you won't notice the difference anyway.

Just found out that you only get the front end bonnet and headlight chrome trim detail - the chrome that runs across the top of the grill to over the headlights - if you get the LED headlights.
