I can't help with the oil sensor but can with the oil consumption.

Mine needs approx half a litre between services. (15 plate car with 50k on clock).

your right, I've just replaced all 4 at 44k miles, this time with Michelin Pilot 3's

I took a feed from the fuse box behind the glove box and ran the wires up the passenger A pillar.

I drive in mainland Europe at least one a month and ACC must use the Sat Nav to know as it works fine driving on the other side of the road and works when indicating left to overtake etc rather than right.

my car does this also and I have been fobbed off by the dealer 3 times now......that and the dash rattle they can't find!

I had the same issue when i first got my Passat. The dealer re-calibrated the radar sensor and all has been fine since. 30k ago.

I'm just about to replace all 4 at 36k. It has already had a set of fronts at 18k.......

As above, I have a westfalia detachable tow-bar and electrics (ecu) etc.


I am Struggling to code Mod 13 , Auto Dist Control and wanted to know if anyone can help by supplying me with a screen shot or similar of there long coding for ecu13?

Time to find a new Dealer. Car booked in yesterday, phone call at 7.30am to say the hire car they had booked for me was not available! I've only waited 4 weeks to get an appointment with a car! after explaining this I was asked to wait until 11am to drop the car off. Good news is that after picking ...

I'm sorry to here you have the same problem but also pleased that I'm not alone!

Just had it's first service at 20k miles 2 weeks ago. Noted while looking at the service report that the front tyres were marked at 2mm. having only washed the car the week before the service (and checked all the tyres as habit) I was convinced they were wrong!.....so went outside to look this morni...

Thank you. It sounds like it could be that. Any idea which pipes? my local dealer can't get the car booked in until the 21st March! Not exactly sure, but think it was something to do with air con / heating pipes. I left it with them for two weeks while we were on holiday so they didn't have an excu...

I totally agree....although some of it is my fault as a need a courtesy car. the dealer is about 10 miles away.
