Update days basically Euro car parts supplied the wrong shockers for Audi A3 which was a lighter front end! So was bottoming out
I got the correct ones and it's much more better and takes the bumps etc

I have this permanently disabled on my passat 14 plate.
The thinking was less wear on starter motor etc (or is this a myth)

Question, is my thinking correct or should I enable it to save fuel in the current climate?

I have the same car it's very unforgiving especially with the poor conditions of roads i think it would sit fine on a motorway but for minor roads if you hit a bump the impact is felt through the car maybe coilovers would make it more comfortable or standard springs if they fit the dampers it would...

I've drove other passats the same spec/ year as mine and they do drive softer.

Correct psi from fuel flap 36psi.
I don't want to change to 17"s as this will ruin the look.

Hi Bought some bosch wipers that sometimes perform very well quiet and you don't even notice them wiping the windscreen. Other times they are the opposite noisy, sticking and juddering.
