Hi guys, after replacing break master cylinder and a burst rear brake pipe, on my passat wagon, I'm struggling to get a good hard pedal after power bleeding the system, I have some pressure half way down but if I hold it there my foot creeps down nearly to the floor, where am I going wrong.

When I fitted normal Led bulbs in, they where pants, they work better in reflector headlights, but poo in projector lights unless you use the full Hid kits with ballasts.

Hi minimental, won't use leds in mine as with the updated MOT stats they are illegal unless your headlights are factory Hid's then led's will pass.

Mornin Gazwould, yeh totally agree with you, osram are the better of two regarding the LUX test, I looked at the review in Auto Express, and I'm sure osram was the third best, so with me not getting a decent service life from the osram id never had Phillips before so thought give them ago.

Hi Gazwould, watched the vid, massive difference in headlight design, the reno lights look like reflector type where as the ssat is projector type.

Hi Gazwould, not buying anymore osram bulbs they only lasted 5months and I think the Phillips are brighter,see how long they last time will tell.

Hi everybody, my 04 waggons headlights are in my opinion dangerous at night, happy with the high beam, but dipped is like candle power, iv polished the lenses with in an inch of there life they look like new, iv tried uprated halogen bulbs, Led bulbs which are now illegal for MOT, wots your thoughts...

Also check fuse 31 for reversing lights and all vac pipes.

I had the same issue in drivers footwell, I re sealed ECU and to make sure re sealed big metal lock carrier on drivers door and drivers rear door.

Afternoon all. When you select reverse I used to get a short beep to say rear parking aid is working, now I get a short beep and then a longer louder beep and the parking aid is not working, any ideas what's wrong regards paul.

Fuse 31 I think, reversing light fuse deletes N75. Hope that helps.

Thanks Gazwould, it's been down on power for over 12 month, so I did some fault finding, I replaced all vac lines, no change and then the map an maf sensors, a little better but not wright, so next job was to sort reversing lights that where stuck on so I put fuse back in so I could do the reversing...

Thanks for reply, I thought reversing light fuse did not power anything else.

Totally confused with this issue, how can replacing reversing light fuse restore all power to the engine, no limp mode or emissions workshop light anymore, wots going on, please can somebody explain.

Hi, can somebody tell me the location of N75 and N18 on my 1.9 TDI AWX passat please many thanks paul.

My Windows did the same and it was the wiring at the CCM, all bad wires cut out and re made been good now for two years.
