The catch on the bottome is easily broke. Also, double check it's not just jammed shut as this will not allow the metal bar on the boot/hatch to lock into place. Screw it? My shaft has got a single groove on the left hand side. Where as the new knob has part for the groove at the front and the back. My plan was to cut off the part with the groove(shortening at the same time), then cut a slit and the back in order for the gear knob to sit in the correct orien...

I have to admit, I straight copied you with this gear knob. Have you managed to fit it yet? If so how have you gone about doing it? I've found it's a different orientation to the standard knob. I think I'm going to have to make some adjustments to the shaft. :???: ...Shouldn't be too hard though. :D...

Hi guys just thoight i'd ask my 20vt has allways revved above 10k when cold for 2/3 mins then goes to below 10k. It's never done any different but just wondering....in this normal ir is it temp sensor replacing time? I hope you mean 1k instead of 10k. Most of my cars have revved higher for a minute...
