sorry mate blonde moment. I have saw a cable on gumtree for £35 but wondered if id get stung getting the ross tech software, ive heard you can get a 'lite' version. what do you have Richard ?

I've got a reversing camera all sorts to go with the unit so it really does need sorting. Glad you made it sound easy enough. Sheffield is a bit of a drive but I'll certainly bare It in mind if I'm stuck. Much appreciated matey. Don't know too much about 'cressa' though, enlighten me?

thanks for your reply its the E5 I needed, I bought it and fitted new door lock module but im still getting the sensor issue. im lost now, its draining my battery all the time anyone have any ideas on the next steps I should take in resolving this problem???

Just in case anyone else gets the same issue you can lock the car by getting in the passenger side and leaning over to the interior c/l button which will disable the alarm II got a new door locking module which will be fitted soon but in the mean time this helps

I live In Crewe so I'm a while away. I think I'm gonna get a new door actuator module it's the left front door any ideas where I might be able to pick one up from? Any help would be appreciated

thanks for your reply, vcds would be a dream come true not available to me I'm afraid. do you think if I picked up a used door locking mechanism it would solve the problem ? Any ideas why my siren wont be working ? ive heard this could be due to water getting in under the battery

sorry this isn't any help, but I have the black trim and would be interested in getting the chrome trim all round I have seen trim for specific parts ie back bumper/ rear door etc but not all round so if someone has a link that would be great. In answer to you question ebay might be an option.
