Re: Interior Light Question
Contacts in the light switch can corrode and bend slightly. More than likely the cause.

Good write up on the climate panel retrofit! Would love to change mine but put off slightly by the fact it doesn't work 100%. Is there anything can be done to change it? Different size wheel used or something?

Re: Trim removal tools
I use my fingers to undo the door cards lol! Once the bolts are out, grab the boot on of the door and pull hard. Haven't broken a door card mount yet, and maybe break about 10-20% of clips but there easily purchased and replaced.

Inserts were hard enough. Some big clamps to hold them on place while the glue set would have helped.
Black headrest with screens, DVD player and TV tuner will be up for sale! Need to fix a wire on the TV tuner.
IN8, will be good to catch up and hopefully your not in a rush home this time!

Mmmm NUEs! Love these! Yea I would say keep them polished up or get them diamond cut. But with a white car, you could go with a bold colour on them.
Clear indicators I think would suit it better too. Otherwise siting very well!

Re: Got the R-line Kit fitted ---- Build Update
Regards to footwell lights, When I coded mine in, all I did was tick the footwell lights installed in byte 1 (think its byte 1). It brought up the option on the MFD to turn them on and off and adjust the brightness when the doors open. I would like them set up so I can adjust the brightness I them w...

Re: B6... A Working Progress
May as well keep them for now! You can buy your other seats when you man up and talk to the seller again or when you take a trip to Poland!
Get the doors cards trimmed to match and the arm rest.
Only reason not to keep them is of you decide to have a few new kids and end up with twins!

No feeling fine! Needed to get up early anyway.
Next job will be getting roof lining changed. Gonna change the pillars first to see how it looks. Once I've done that I should be finished! Maybe get the parcel shelf retrimed with half black half cream.

Wheels would fit, but would be a tight fit. Would need a reasonable amount of stretch on the tyres though.

Have been tempted to go for some 345mm brakes as I need new pads and disks anyway. An of the differnece in the price of 312 to 345 disks and pads though.

I remember seeing a Rolls Royce with green leather once, dark green though. Not into all the players style bright bold colours.

I watched revo open his bonnet one day with a screwdriver. Took him 20 seconds. He had obviously done it before haha! Was looking today at mine and how I would do it if I ever needed to.

Yea have thought about future colour change but I love the luxury OEM look. Will give the door cards ago tomorrow. There plastic welded together so ill have to melt or grind them out. http://i626.photobucket.com/albums/tt349/gblackb6/418b2cceaf30ca5f586201409696e25a.jpg No going to sell them either ...

Frig that I'm wrecked! Need some time with the fiancée apparently lol!
Yes bum still a bit wet, seats got a proper clean before they went in the car lol. It also rained half way through.
Think the seats are heated but can't get them to work. I've maybe washed them a little bit too well!

Got the cream roof lining too, so I'm gonna swap it out. Trying to get the leather out of the door cards to swap just the leather part too to break up the solid black of the doors. Easier said than done lol. I recon each door could take an hour.

A friend has just stuck some seat Cupra 345mm calipers and disks on his A3. Straight fit for them. V6 B6s use 345mm disks but use different calipers to the Cupra ones.

Top work! Really tidy idea that. And all you'll ever use a cigarette for is charging stuff, usually with a USB cable!
