The lights back on today but didn't get the sensor fault code 00290, just ABS 03841 & 01316. TPS who are they? what about europarts, are their parts any good? can get the hub off them for a good one about the same £80. I'll get sensor from dealers as copies can cause issues I heard.

Recently i have noticed on my 2011 vw passat 2.0 tdi everytime I switch the engine off 3-4 clicking sounds from the engine bay. My mates got a golf 2010 and his car does the same everytime you switch the off. What could it be and should i be worried?

Do dealers use the same oil on the major service and the intrim service? Do they use the long life oil only on major service and different oil on intrim?

I ve bought a bosch s5 a08 battery for my 2011 passat. Has the ross tech been updated with bosch or do you still need to pick varta e39? What do i do with the serial number?

Update - had my car diagnosed at the dealers today, turned out to be a fault on the EGR value. Lucky, as my car had the emissions update they said it was under warranty & will replace it FOC, Arr and also said there was a recall on the coil switch which they will also do. Has any1 gone back to dealers after software update and stated they are getting less mpg and lower performance? As im thinking of comtacting them as im sure they must have loads of complaints since the update? I read on another forum lots of people with less mpg after update.

I read this tread but unfortunately I've had my software update, sorry I have 2.0 TDI 170 2011 Passat. I think im getting less MPG & less power since the update. Can I ask vw to undo the software update as I'm not happy with it? Anyone else with same issues?

Thanks what could be the noise it makes on full lock to the left. Its like when the fluid is low?

I got 2011 170 tdi sport with most of the extras, just missing the xenon lights. Can i just change them over or do i need to do something else. Or shall i just do a conversation on the current lights. Any good guyz doing them in west midlands area?

My steering wheel makes a litle noise every now and again on full lock. I was thinking the fluid might be a bit low. For the life of me i cant find where under the bonnet the top up container is for me to check. Can some1 help. And also will the standard red fluid be ok?
