Nothing to be concerned about. Really depends on how heavily right-footed you are. I have done 70,000 miles in mine in 2 years, and top up regularly. My more feather-footed colleagues hardly ever top up between services, if at all.

Downloaded, unzipped and overwrote previous files/folders on original SD card. All good each time.

No idea what Discovercare software is though.

OP - You've already created the entries in the FAT relating to the the (now deleted) number of excessive files.

My advice would be to re-format the card, and then copy your files over again, observing of course any stipulated limit.
