Re: amp power cable

Sorry guys didn't mean to scare people into thinking that if you only fused at the batt end your car would go up in flames :0 It's a bit like lightning, it's rare for people to get struck but it does happen, for a few quid its worth fuseing both ends and if you have more than one amp you will need t...

Re: amp power cable

you need to fuse both ends of a power cable, theres a lot of juice runs down a power cable, I used to be in the trade years ago and have seen what happens to peoples cars when they only fused at the battery end, I remember a mini that had a faulty amp in the boot, caused ashort on the power terminati...

ran mine through the ecu box aswell. best way on the b5.5

also make sure you fuse your power cable at both ends, battery and boot, otherwise if something goes wrong it can make a bit of a mess of your motor

Re: cost of new wind screens ?

not sure about the standard one being black lee, unless they do a black one now but they never use to they always use to be a very dark blue or green that does look blackish. you could always get a clear one and get one of those strips to stick on the top of it with lee/mrs lee printed on  (lol)
