disconnect the battery and wait a few mins. and dont disconnect facing where the airbag would explode to.
Is it a tsport by chance? seems a common problem on the corollas.
How does your son find it? was considering a corolla t sport next

You just need a fork to stop that.
Stab anyone who does it in the hand a few times, then soon you'll have no more worrys.
tbh i think most fabrics you trim it with will fade with time anyway.

@sy666 it needs the bumper bars swapping over i understand. was only going to remove the neck, as im a lazy sod and have the option to refit it if the next owner so wished. - but if you can swap the bumper bars over and get it off im happy for you to have it. it is quite firmly stuck on mind. tried ...

Time for some new wheels. as buckled a wheel and ruined another tyre. god knows how many times potholes have chewed my tyres now since we've had the passat. Got them sat in the kitchen and i'm glad to say they've not got 35 profile tyres... pics to follow in the next day or two after i've fit...

Re: b5.5 saloon - black a,b and c pillars with bad pics
Little update the passat has been ticking along nicely, ride is driving me crackers. roads by me and my lane are not really 35 profile friendly. Seriously bad enough that i'm thinking of selling up. probably tax it first and do the oil again so its nice and ready. more pics as thats what we all want...

my guess would be maf or lambda sensors.
on group 1 of the logging bit of vcds lite. it'll show you the lambda before cat reading, group 2 can give you a air mass drawn reading which i think is the maf.

if i could fit 40 profile on my 19s i dont think ride quality would come into it much, but the way it drives is where you feel the difference.
i may well go back to 18s next, just so i can have 40 profile
