I've just purchased a new cover for my gear knob to replace mine which the silver is flaking off.
Can anyone enlighten me how I go about swapping them out please?

Not sure. If it's just a heater element then that will save me cash

Does anyone know if the heated wing mirrors are on different fuses or the same?
My passenger side doesn't work with the drivers one and I was going to check the fuse. Alternatively, is it likely to be the heater element behind the glass?

I didn't think the SDHC cards worked with the 510, just the older SD cards (up to 8GB)

Press and hold the set up button,this will take you to the "secret" menu and will tell you what maps,hardware etc yours has I tried this and the only thing that came up was 3 buttons for ratio (FM/AM/DAB) so couldn't even get to the firmware. Any other ideas? I have a copy of the Maps DVD...

Hi, I have a 2008 Passat with RNS510 and 2008 software and I was wondering if its possible to update my maps to the latest version and what I need to do. I'm not sure what version I have as I don't know how to get into the firmware menu. I've seen V10 for sale on ebay but I'm not sure if its complat...
