Hey guys! Just refurbished my alloys and nearly ready to fit to passat! Just wondering what tyre size I need? Wheels are Audi D2 alloys - 18 x 8 I think. Do I need 225 40 18? Will I have any clearance issues? Car hasn't been lowered. It's a 2001 passat sport estate. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. Don't have VAG com, so change the coil packs which hadn't been changed - hey presto, no shuddering!!

Mine kept coming up with system too lean bank one on my 1.8t, turned out to be MAF.

I ended up replacing mine with an SMF and S4 clutch from ECS in the states for my 1.8t. Thought I'd best get an uprated one with it having a k04 and remap. It's all good at the moment!

Hi guys! Just refurbing some Audi D2 alloys for my passat B5.5, and I'm wondering what colour to paint them. I want normal alloy wheel colour, but what colour is that? I heard VW reflex silver is a good one due to the metallic fleck. Does anyone have any ideas?

How much do you think I'm looking at for a new Clutch and fly wheel? I've seen this on ECS which looks good (http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-Pas ... ch/ES5485/ works out at about £370 + postage! Does this look any good/good value?

Am I better getting dual or single mass fly wheel?

Just wondering what is the best clutch to get for my 1.8t 2001 passat. It's starting to slip, and I want to get a decent one (don't know if I need uprated as I have k04 + remap). I don't want to pay a vast amount, but would like a decent one. Any ideas? Also, where's the best place to get it from?

Just had my passat 1.8t remapped at REVO. Needed a new MAF and after remap and the MAF, car seems much faster. I asked the guy what power he thought it had and he said about 190 (he doesn't have a rolling road). Does this seem right? Sounds like it has less than a normal remap! He did state that my ...

Does anyone know if mk5 gti injectors would fit my B5.5 1.8t AWT engine? My mates upgraded his an has offered me some. He says they are good for 260BHP. Would there be any benefit over my current ones if I'm going to get a remap, or would I be better with some BAM/225 injectors?
