Hello camcroft. If you don't mind me asking how did you get on fitting your Pioneer head Unit and which one did you go for.I also have the Dynaudio sound system i had the RCD510 until it decided to blow a few components up. So i am looking at different options open to me. Cheers alan

Hi Kartman. The wires look ok and i was wondering if it could be the control module on the window regulator. Does anyone know if they are just plug and play or do they need to be coded to work. Cheers

Update. I have tested the motor which is working ok so i was wondering are the modules that are connected to the motor prone to fail ?

I'm slowly working through the problems with our passat. The rear nearside windows has always sounded strange when it closes so i finally got round to taking the door card off. Ok started the car up yesterday and the airbag warning light came on.Plugged a bosch daig kit in and it came up with 04C1 (igniter cct airbag drivers side front maximum exceeded) cleared the error code drove the car home and no warning light came on. Now that's a good question gizmo-98. I've not had the car from new but the faulty side has the original plug but not sure if the motor has been replaced. Been trying to do a search to see if there is a post showing the differance between the old and new plugs.

I have a problem with the N/S EPB motor. The feed to the motor is ok and the motor is fine the problem appears to be either the plug or socket on the motor, for some reason the plug will not go all the way into the socket. Hi RichardSel. We'll no sign of amp under passenger seat. Regarding the speakers they all seam to be working in the front passenger door. Offside front and near side rear tweeters only and nothing from offside rear. Looks like I'm going to have a few interesting days testing speakers and the cabling.
