Re: Cruise control (sorry for another post on this subject)
Thanks Jultsu I will give it another go over the weekend. No need to take the ECU connector apart, you have the necessary cables coming from it already to the white multiconnector. Take it off and apart and find the correct colour wires and remove them and join them to the cruise wires. Use the pins...

Re: Seat Exeo tdi 170 CR engine noise on idle
Thanks,
I was listening to the car again and the noise seems to vibrate down the car. Possible transferring the noise down the exhaust?

Plugged it into VCDs nothing came up. Only does it on idle. Not sure if the video is clear enough but what is the gold colour metal pipe, is that egr valve?

Seat Exeo tdi 170 CR engine noise on idle
2012 Seat Exeo tdi 170
Car is out of warranty only 32k on the clock
Making a strange noise under idle - from the outside outsides like a sub woofer.
Seems to be coming from the drivers side
Any ideas? Video below:#

Re: paint 12year warranty
Just received a call from Isaac Agnew VW they have received the authorisation from VW to fit new wings to the Passat, no fight was needed. The only thing I have to pay for is new side moldings with chrome at £80 something a pop but just going to ask them to blend it in instead of replacing them.

Passat locking automatically
I have had the dreaded dodgy pollen filter seal causing wet carpets etc. I inspected the ccm which is bone dry and the protective box is dry inside as well. My issue is when I open the car it automatically locks after 20-30 seconds causing the alarm to go off. I think my issue is possible the wiring...

Airbag light - Passenger side - which sensor?
I currently have an airbag light on. I have so far identified my problem as a faulty airbag sensor which is located under the passenger side carpet. My problem now is finding the correct sensor, I have tried 2 different sensors from eBay and I get the message below which going by ross tech means its...
