Just had mine done payed £460 including water pump and major service.

Just had full service/mot advised about brakes pads and discs due soon.
Any advice on where from and type type?
It's a 140 sport tdi bluemotion 2011.
Any recommendation welcome.

I had the same issue after having my belt done. Get vcds plugged in and check your intake cam torsion reading (it should read zero) but can be within +/- 1.5% mine was out by 6.7% (8% is one tooth out) Also check exhaust cam, mine ran much better after having the intake adjusted but still had the s...

Hi my b7 140 sports due a service soon 65k what parts are due at this time? Where's the best place to get these?
This is my first diesel so unsure about glow plugs and any other diesel specific parts.

I was interested in the needle staging that you said could be enabled on white dials.
I have vcds but couldn't get it working on mine.

Needle staging doesnt depends on the car trim or model. Some white speedos do have this , can be enabled in adaptations chanel. If not available , eeprom valuee read and changed. I have premium speedo , and its very hard to find for UK market with miles. jaraz Are you going to share how to do this?

Thanks. It has a slot to the left of the screen which looks like a sd slot, is that for music etc just? How do i reset it? Thanks SD Card slot for music or update maps Factory reset is available in settings. Is there a cheaper way of getting the map updates on as card? Rather than from a dealer?
