I have contact vw huddersfield and they want to book my car in and charge me £15 for the code!!

I've tried to search for an answer but failed. Has anyone got a link to a cheap/free source for radio codes?

Also has anyone had any luck getting an AUX IN on these factory units? I want to keep the stock looks but have a way of playing my iPod in the car

You could stick the fly eyes to the inside Of the lights, won't improve output obviously but u won't get un even scratches etc

I just use a gas soldering iron, last time I tried it worked very well. But it does seem to work on this plastic, perhaps cos it's flexible, my last attempt was on a old mini's wheel arch so was a bit stiffer stuff.

I should really give it another try, just for practise

I respect that u can actually call time on making changes, I look for different rims everyday, think up new ideas to try regulary I wish I could just finish it and leave it alone.
