Re: B4 TDI problem
Hi, i had a similar thing when i changed the injectors in my tdi b4 - It was an air lock between the pump and fuel tank (you'd have thought it would be able to pump from the tank but it can't pump the air! :? ) Anywho I got a inline one-way pump thing (abit like the shape of a rugby ball) stuck that...

Re: anyone - please HEEEELLLLLPPPPPPPP
Sounds Very promising!, I think you will need to stick with the mechanical clocks - Would be quiet difficult to change over. If it does seam slow then that may confirm the low speed/Low boost - the ecu thinks it's only doing 30mph(or whatever) and cuts back power :?: Can anyone confirm that corrado ...

Re: anyone - please HEEEELLLLLPPPPPPPP
Another thought - The ECU reads the MPH from the clocks in these i'd have thought (my golf mk3 took the speed direct off the gearbox) but my B4 has a mechanical drive to the clocks then must relay that to the Ecu (Needs it for Cruise Control etc and also i think it's designed that less boost below 3...

Re: anyone - please HEEEELLLLLPPPPPPPP
The Saga continues! lol When I brought mine the Fuel Gauge + Temp gauge didn't work, I put some Petrol clocks in so my Rev counter reads to 6.5k but later found that the plug that goes into the back of the clocks isn't very strong and works lose (I drilled some hole in the back of the clocks and cab...

Re: B4 TDI HEEEELLLLLPPPPPPPP
For the vag-com theres a plastic cover to the left of the clocks which has what looks like a circle vent thingy on - mine also has a picture of an engine being struck by lightening :? tis under there  I remeber on my golf mk3 tdi that it would 'miss' only slightly after a cambelt change (on ha...

Re: B4 TDI HEEEELLLLLPPPPPPPP
You'd have Thought but guess it's the way the egr works -it's designed to let the unburnt fuel back though the intake to be burnt again so hense less smokey...... U can upgrade the injectors have a look on tdiclub.com and myturbodiesel.com on the faqs pages that'll give you an idea of injectors etc ...

Re: B4 TDI HEEEELLLLLPPPPPPPP
I had mine blanked for a bit, didn't do anything just made it more smokey - does stop the intake clogging up.... But rather that than smokey - with foot on the floor it's fully closed any who - only realy does anything at tickover. Injectors me thinks  long shot that it is the wastegate actura...

Re: B4 TDI HEEEELLLLLPPPPPPPP
Hi lawsy - you can blank the egr with a plate but your best to leave it connect after to stop it showing a code - I reackons the injectors or maybe the wastegate controller, try some injector cleaner first or new injectors if not........... Have you tryed vagcom? Andy c

ah - in that case then if it doesn't 'squirt' it'd say it is the stop valve, Don't think they're much so i'd be tempted to swap that out and see where it gets you. Theres few things it can be as you don't have an ecu to worry about - My moneys on the Stop Valve ;)

Re: b3, diesel wont fire up???? HELP
mmm, you note you have fuel at the injectors - does it 'spirts' out when Cranking the engine? If so it's not the stop valve thingy..... maybe timing out?! but as it worked a yesterday it's unlikely.
