Very nice, I looked at a couple of the A8 4.2s but in the end they were slightly too big for my drive!
Got an A6 instead ;)

Alright blokes, some of you might remember me. I had a blue TDi B5.5 on merc rims and coilys a while back. Couldnt hack the diesel so got rid. Anyway Ive now got a Audi A6 and I want to know if the Passat ever came with heated washer jets? Reason being, I have heated jets but want the Passat nozzles...

Re: Bye Passat
Yes, I had a Leon Cupra, nice car but lifeless to drive. The EVO 5 and upwards probably had a better chassis but you cant beat the flat 4 growl ;) Oh, I enquired about insurance for an Evo 5.... almost twice as much as the scoob. The scoob already comes with coilovers, exhaust, sports cat, my01 whee...

Dont get me wrong I liked the old girl and would probably have swapped her for a w8 or v6. But a diesel, even remapped was just sooo slowwww. Bought the scoob for a bit of weekend fun.

Bye Passat
Well 6 months and a good few quid spent it was time to say ta ta to my 'sat. It was just too slow for my needs. So I went out and bought this with the spare change from selling her. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v355/foxygti6/scooby/IMG_1878.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v355/foxygti6/sc...

This worked for me also, an old rigid plastic card saves you 4 quid.

Awful.
He will struggle to shift them at that price on ebay I would think. E38 might be the place to go to move those.

This will only work with the FBW 1.8t engine.

I can turn the airbag light off quite easily by turning off faulty/missing airbags. At least this way the rest of the system will work in the event of a crash.

Your S3 has 2 side mounts, one each side. I would imagine it would fit, they are not the same part but very similar dimension wise. You may need reducers but the left hand one should fit.
You could try fitting both, I would imagine theres plenty of room....

Re: Power Loss - TDI PD115, Engine code ATJ
Sounds like you have ruptured your intercooler. Either that or youve popped/split a hose. The bottom hose runs along the front panel at the bottom from the turbo to the intercooler. pain in the ass to get to because of the aircon pipes. It is solid so its unlikey to rupture. Its more likely to be on...
