anyone know the part no for the cable which goes from the mast to the radio as the radio connection snaped off mine and vw bath could not find it on there system and was ment to be ringing me but has not yet

it for a 98 wagon

in my pics above it show where i have the clip
its on the bit where the 3rd brake light is

or search ebay for passat sunshades ;) its the same people that sell them on there but sometimes there cheaper ;)

its not that dark at night plus they help with headlights behind ;)

first time my misses drove at night with them she moaned that she could not see very well so i took em out then she moaned about bright lights behind so now she has em in

you can get to the torx screw from inside i did when this happened to the inside of mine. :wink: once the door card and metal panel is off a simple pull of the cable opened the door. :???: it sorted its self after a while then would reappear so replaced both door mechs and touch wood its been ok sin...

take the door cards off and silicon around the metal instert thats bolted to the door thats what i done on mine and its stoped it coming in

if you have the tray under and climate on top and have a torx for the screws you can do it by taking the climate out then undoing the screws at the top of the tray then take the whole surround out ;) thats how i do mine
