Ive got aftermarket ones from china..fit perfect but dont look as good as the genuine..but for 12 quid for 4 from china ya cudnt go wrong

The main reason I have held of from doing a remap aks1989. The flywheel is so so and the clutch can't be great after 109000 miles.
I know what your going to say gazwould, a clutch friendly remap is better than stock, because it spreads out the torque, but I know the first thing that everyone does ...

Youve never seen a b6 broken down?... do you leave the house at all ... lol.
I remember the day mine broke down, busy round about in centre of town, she started reving hard the hit the limited then booooom....rod out of the block and oil everywhere..

B6 are made from choclate...
I had a b6 1.9 bkc , and dmf failure at 67k.
My current b5 is on 122k on original dmf and mapped to 180 odd .

Whats the milage on it?.
Mines on 120k and theres a slight jingle aswell but not enough for me to worry yet .
Being honest if it was me, id change the lot, be some pain in the bum to change the clutch and a week later dmf drop out of it .

If its a 1 piece pipe and cat be prepared for a pain in the ass to get it off .

At least ye can argue youre case in the uk.
I called into my local vw garage ( ireland ) and asked about the paint warrenty and as i have rust on my boot lid and was told thats only in the uk pal
Ireland dealer networks dont cover the same as uk dealers ....

I got mine done today from air con specialist for 60e
They flushed the old poo outa the system, put in new gas and oil and antibacterial agent .
And now its ice cold.
Well worth the 60 bucks.
Ive used those cans in halfords before and theyre ok..
But now the cars frezzing its like a new ac system now

Snub mount is located under the front of the car in the middle near the bottom of the rad..ill try get a pic
