Re: Talk me out of it....

My mate has had the new insignia 2.0 cdti now since he bought it 4 years ago. He has never had any issues and has only needed to service it. I have borrowed it several times, in my opinion they are great value for money and come with some great features and extras. It is also very very pokey and ama...

Re: Alternator problem

I'd rather pay for a decent one, how involved is it to replace the alternator on the 2.0 petrol engine?

Alternator problem

Evening chaps, My battery light came on today in the Passat so I am assuming I need a new alternator. Can anyone advise a cost to repair this (what a garage will charge to supply and fit)? I wouldn't be able to do this job myself I don't think, and even if I could I just don't have the time as I am ...

Re: Anyone dumped Sky yet?

I moved to Bt for a little while a few years ago but less than a year later went back to sky. Sky have some channels that other providers cannot offer, so for me I will stay with sky.

I always get a good deal, I normally call them every year to negotiate a new deal and so far I cannot complain.

Ignition live

Afternoon all,

I have just attempted to install my parrot mki9200, the harness needs an ignition live which I was going to take from the cigarette lighter power feed however this is a constant live on my 2005 b6. My question is where else can I find an ignition live?

Many thanks

Re: Airbag Fault

I have just fitted an aftermarket stereo, when I removed the stereo surround I disconnected the connector which send power to the "airbag off" thing. This caused an airbag fault to appear on the MFD. plugged a code reader in and reset. No problems now, so it could be this if someone remove...

Re: Locking wheel socket help

I don't have the locking but but if you struggle I do have the reverse spline sockets that are used to remove them. Let me know if you need to borrow and I can post it up to you (will need them back though).

Wheel fitment

Evening all,

I have a wheel fitment question, I have potentially been offered some very nice Porsche wheels

Front: 19x9 & 215/35 tyres

Rear: 19x10 & 235/35 tyres

Both are et60 and Come with 15 and 20mm adaptors to 5x112

Would these fit on my b6 Passat?

Thanks in advance
