Looking at that B3 you posted up on the book of face yesterday i agree, matt black works soooooooo well when done right. It almost made me wanna go out and spray my wheels black again too :hyst that one on FB was the same colour as mine is now, just without the silly headlight covers and the wheels...

Know the feeling mate, I feel the same about this B5.5 compared with my old B5 but I'm trying to stick with it and all will come good eventually I'm hoping :-bd maybe stick at it a little first? gonna put some feelers out and see if any interest.. shouldn't have bought it really as got my heart set...

my current thinking is matt black, front bench seat similar to mocco's banded steels red with chrome coloured centres and whitewall tyres drop in a dirty derv, lower the front a tad more and then just roll hot rod style.. Well Ive been using it this week. No giving any thought about anything. Oil level hasn't dropped in 150 miles at all. So not really worried yet. Looking not too bad on the steelies. I had a mk2 goof with the 1.6 TD and intercooler in, I loved it, was a great little car, plenty of power and did about 60 mpg I then had a mk3 goof with the 1.9AAz in it, felt about the same to drive, but didnt have to boot as much to get anywhere if you know what i mean..
