My cigaret lighters are removed and want to use this for charging a mobile phone. But there is no power to these point. The 12V in the boot is working perfectly. Apparently it's some sort of legal requirement that speed should be displayed in kmph as well as mph. Older VW's (and many modern cars) had/have kmph shown in small numbers on the actual speedo alongside mph. It would be interesting to know if mph is shown on the central display on German, French, ...
