Coilovers on the rear are in the same arrangement as standard.

Dampers and spring are still seperate. The threded section sits in the bottom of the spring.

If you have a look at the Venom adverts in PVW or Golf+ they advertise a bung for the window wiper holes - fitted from behind and sits flush with the glass. Looks better than a rubber grommit but its a bit pricey I think !!!

To Paint or not to paint ?

That is the question !!! I'm pondering the question over weather or not to get my lowers painted. Definatly getting the bumper strips done but I'm not sure about the lowers - didnt realise quite how rubbery the door sections were ! Painters not too happy about painting them as he reckons they'll cra...

VW Foreign Parts ?

Hi all, can anyone tell me if its possible to order vw US Spec parts through VW uk ? Reason I ask is that I'm sure I read that the Jap spec bumper insert is available from VW - is it possible to get other parts too ? Surely there all made in the same factory as the euro spec parts ? Stunning pics mate !!! Gotta agree - think those wheels really suit the car ! Have you taken out the rubber pads that sit on top of the springs from the rear ? Can be an alternative to taking the adjusters out. I found the adjusters to be about 12mm compared to the rubber pads being about 6-7mm. :wi...
