Ok so this is where the vacuum pipe finish at the other end. Not sure what it is as I can't see it properly but I have a pic
It is under the plastic intake hose that goes across the top of the engine.

Loosing power yes but no smoke or rough running. I deleted the egr valve and blanked one of the vacuum hoses off that goes to the egr valve but this one has never been connected to anything since I have had it. To be honest I never new it was there since I deleted the egr.

There is no other vacuum hose around not being used so am still unsure where this goes can anybody help please

Ok guys I been sorting my Passat out it the b5.5 awx engine and found a loose vacuum hose behind the intake pipe at the back off the engine just before the pipe goes in to egr valve. Is this vacuum pipe suppose to go somewhere please.

Right ordered my parts to get my Passat back on the road so thought I'd service it while I was fitting my other new parts I've got all the bits I need but I was wondering what was the best oil to use please

Ok so I bit the bullet and drove my car to work and had ot on the ramp at work finally instead of doing it on my drive. I found one problem with the car and that's the boost pipe from the turbo to the front metal pipe has burst. Does anyone know which pipe this is.

Ok so still haven't had a chance to look at the Passat yet not using it at the mo as I've got my other halfs mk2 golf on the road at the mo. Really struggling to find time to get it fixed in gutted I'm not driving it around at the mo

Ok so I have a boost problem in my Passat it whistle when I accelerate.i have checked all boost pipe are connected and checked for visual damage to pipes but can't see a problem there doesn't seem to be a lack of power but I took it out the other day and it had none but then took it out again and ...

I know it's 57mm one side the egr side but do I have to get a reducer hose or is it the same size.

Hi all I'm looking for a complete boost pipe kit for my tdi Passat b5.5 130 pd
Been having boosting problem one after the other with the boost pipe been bodging the pipe for ages think it about time to replace them and thought y not upgrade intercooler and pipes at the same time

They have two number on the rear of the wheel 5x112 and 5x114.3

Yep m14x1.5 but it seems like the washer bit is to big and won't let the bolt screw in.

Depends on cash flow at the mo getting my turbo checked out as think it's on it's way out as its started smoking and is loosing boost every now and again am checking all engine and hoses if everything ok 180bhp would be sufficient but if I have to replace turbo will uprate it as well as other things
