I removed the all the boxes on my td5 90 land rover including the cat, egr, fitted bigger inter cooler etc.. I had no problems apart from the ecu kept going into limp mode due to the speed the turbo spooled up at. i used a boost controller and a remap, other than that i had no problems with removing...

I didn't, took me weeks to work out why my tyres were going down, there only needs to be a little bit of the match stick in the cap, just enough to press the valve when it is fully tightened, you don't hear the air rushing out then.

try snapped matches super glued into valve caps, nice slow deflate overnight and no signs of tapering, will puzzle them for weeks as tyre fitters won't find the leek in dip tanks as they do it with valve caps removed. i have had this done to me along with my locks being super glued by an ex on a ver...

yes but i have never fitted one to a passat before, the only mod you will have to do is to run a switching cable to turn the unit on

there is a bit more technology involed in airfilters than a bath sponge lol. try running it with a pair of tights ove your maf to see what it would be like, i would go for a coam tho

hi mate, the green powedery stuff if corosion if you clean it off ( i usually use wet and dry paper or a screw driver) you may find it will work again, it is caused by water being in contact with the components for a period of time
