Re: B5 TDI sport

My car is back to no knocking and a lot more sturdy/comfortable on the road. Quite liking the slightly lower ride height on the back as well, so might just leave it. Cheers for today and glad your girl passed her test ;)

3B5 Project: DOGZILLA, Wolf Wagon

The Wolf Wagon, has found her twin. Dale's coupe has her winter tyres on but normally sports RS4 Reps as well, so they're much more twin like. We got them both cleaned up and quickly realized, after the dirt had gone, that they're actually different colours :( Dale's is a lot more moody and dark. Mi...

Re: NEW B5 PROJECT: WOLF WAGON

Wishlist: Tints (Limo on tailgate window, then 15% on rear 4 windows with potential 80% on the fronts, still undecided), Wheel refurb and respray (Gloss Black, Gunmetal or Black Chrome? I like Black chrome but she gets dirty a lot in Winter, would need some Winter alloys), More power (PD130 Turbo an...

Re: NEW B5 PROJECT: WOLF WAGON

Cleaned the old girl up and took some photos at one of my regular walk locations. I was playing around with the settings on the phone and used HDR Sensitive on my Xperia Z, and I think you'll agree the results are awesome! Car looks better than it is lol :) My Favourite photo of the Wagon to date: h...

Re: NEW B5 PROJECT: WOLF WAGON

Big Update; I bought some new chrome projector headlamps, and some HIDs, LED sidelights and Diadem Osram indicators. They look soooooo good. I cannot stop photographing and looking at them! I'll let the photos do the talking ;) Projector u Unit https://scontent-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xap1/v/t1.0-9...

Re: nothing special

Lovely wagon pal, I can't believe that's a 40mm drop, you've got a similar amount of arch gap to me and I've gone down about 60-80mm on the front and maybe 60mm on the front. Might be the bigger wheel radius maybe? I've been tempted by slightly thicker tyres to fill the arches better, but then the s...

Re: White tdi 110bhp b5 passat :)

Lovely, I loved your first set of wheels, but they don't suit the bagged look as well as the mercs, they look a bit like interlagos turbine wheels off a scirocco, but I know they're not. Are they off an A8? Keep up the good work, looking forward to exhaust exits and possibly more power?

Re: Seb's 3C disaster footage-19" TUAREG ATHEOS ON BOARD

As long as it drives well, runs smoothly, no clutch slip and the power is there when you need it, then there is no problem. Some people can get funny about dynos and if you make more bhp than them with less mods, it can upset people lol. In a lot of cases, though, the dynos are being very optimistic...

Re: Front ARB upgrade

If we could get a list going, of which models the solid arbs are on as standard, members will find it a lot easier to source. I found one on ebay but there was no mention of solid or hollow. Just that it's a 29mm from a 2.0 ALT engine b5.5 manual. Now presumably, if it's off a saloon, then it's the ...

Re: Lower subframe cross brace Install.

Anyone have an up-to-date price for these lower braces? Are they still available from Audi? I've had a look on ebay nut they're not popular or common. Wouldn't mind making the car a little sturdier in the corners. Will the A4 top strut brace fit also?

Re: Ardi's Passat 2.7 V6 biturbo 4motion sedan LOTS OF PICTU

Ah, thanks for letting me know. I think I'll buy some depo oem xenons, in chrome, then wrap them smoke black, so it can be removed if necessary, but takes the edge off the chrome/white, which can be quite over powering on an all black and green theme. Oem+ is the way forward though. How much power ar...

Re: NEW B5 PROJECT: WOLF WAGON

I forgot to mention our awesome 4 days away in the Lake District. It was fantastic, apart from the ear ache I've had for three weeks from the hot tub :/ Anyway, the car performed beautifully on it's first road trip with the coilovers and 18s. I followed an Audi TT RS that was toying with a 14 plate ...

Re: Ardi's Passat 2.7 V6 biturbo 4motion sedan LOTS OF PICTU

Wow just wow! Very impressive. Some really good photography, and I'm loving the engine swap and the other touches. I really like the RS4 wheels, but there's something cool about keeping it stock looking with those golf rims. I'm going to be the first one to admit, I wish there was a touch more expla...

Re: NEW B5 PROJECT: WOLF WAGON

Ok, so I've been messing about with my coilovers and the ride height, and I found that once I went below 33cm (centre of the wheel to arch) on the front and back, the handling got worse and the car felt a lot less stabled in the corners. The ride comfort dropped drastically as well and it was far to...

Re: BCM's B6 TDI Sport Estate - Keeping it clean!

Nice start fella, I love the matching headlights and sidelights. I need to sort some out. I bought halfords supreme brilliance, but they were only slightly whiter than stock bulbs! I want HIDs, but need projectors first. I recommend multispokes wheels on the B6, I feel they give it a really aggressi...

Loved this, all 117 pages worth! Fantastic car and some sweet transformations. My particular favourite, the murdered out look. I'm keeping an eye on this to see how the power comes along! Would you recommend the powerflex bushes to everyone? Worth the big price tag? I like the idea of stiffening the...

Loving the mods, and the car fella. But I think the blue should have been a little deeper and darker, to suit the your grey. It's awesome seeing people doing original things though. Keep up the good work, it's paying off!

Loving the new wheels pal. Btw you were very helpful when I couldn't work out how low to go on coilovers and you posted that shot of your car with the silver csl like wheels. I've currently gone about half way on my Fks. I'm going to go a little lower though on the back. Some negative comments now. ...

Looking forward to photos, we have the same colour car and the same wheels. Your headlights look like xenons, is that oem for sports models? My lights are just a blur, I prefer yours, maybe they're just cleaner lol.
