still had no luck, checked the fuses which are located on the right side corner of dash which seem ok, is there any other fuses i can check ? all help appreciated

multi function steering wheel problem

Hi everyone, the buttons on my steering wheel on a b5.5 52 reg dont seem to be working with ignition on or off, also would the buttons on steering wheel operate the radio only or cd as well ?? what do i need to check ?? thanks

ps steering does light up when you press small button on left side

Thanks for the replys guys 8) went & bought a rewind tool from local gsf store for £18 which made the job so much easier, all done now :D

help rear brakes calipers

Hi guys, just in the process of changing my rear brake pads on a b5.5 removed cailper old pads etc, problem is how do you push the piston back ?? :? i have tryed turning it clockwise but it doesnt seem to make any difference or pushing it in by using piston tool :? all help appreciated.

Some of the sport's (mine) has a 6 speed gearbox but i dont know if that was standard, it also sits about 20mm lower than the Highline on slightly bigger wheels (16" instead of 15")

Highline has rear parking sensors, sport doesnt... dont know if the highline has automatic windscreen wipers and ...

You can have it removed from the vcar register if it pass's a complete examination?I can't remember the company who does it tho :?

I doubt if you'll buy a 52 plated Sport for the 2k behind the prices quoted here :? :? The salvage before the repair would be close on the 3k mark.

Hi, yes its a b5.5 the button for the illumination works fine , but the buttons on the steering for stereo dont as i have tryed with ignition on etc but makes no difference, btw wheres the fuse box located in these cars ??? could it be a blown fuse ??
