throttle travel and response
on my second b5 tdi now and with this one i feel as if i have to put my foot further down to get more of a response from it. i assume its drive by wire. is there anyway of adjuting this? as it gives you the feeling of false economy and an aching foot on motorway runs.

Re: Clutch
is it a new clutch?
have a look at the friction plate and put a straight edge on it.
i had the same issue with my M3 and the brand new OEM clutch friction disk was bent.

Re: stages of 'tune' for diesel
ok then lol 150bhp will do. not really into spending big money on the daily all i want is a few extra ponies and some torque. and then for it to look half way tidy too.
the decat made a massive difference to my last passat. so it must give extra hp

Re: stages of 'tune' for diesel
adamms24: thats a hell of a shopping list but being as this is a daily runner and i have an M3 for fun i just want it to be as pokey as a new shape passat, 160-170bhp would suit me fine.
so if i was to get a merc maff, decat, air filter, and remap would i achieve my goal?
