How do I end being a member on here?

Sorry to say guys, I'm leaving this great club of good people. I have sold my passat b6 estate and I've purchased a mercedes 300 TE 24 estate. Got it at a good price with very low mileage just over 77k miles. So I've joined a mercedes group, but thanx for all your help. The 2.0 TDI is out, and now w...

Re: Removing front both seats from passat b6 estate.

Not sure of the exact size but T-45 comes to mind. Bought a set with both in there - Torx 6 point and Spline 12 point as there are plenty of both types on the car. If you have airbags in the seats make sure you disconnect the battery first and ground yourself to the body of the car before removing ...

Re: Rear control arm (wishbone) replacement

I remember getting my rear lower inner bushes changed before my MOT. I didn't change the arms, but the bushes. You have to change the inner bush bolt, you have to use a genuine vw bolt and washer, because the one which was already bolted on the car stretch over time. As my brother is a mechanic, he ...

Removing front both seats from passat b6 estate.

Hi, I want to take my front both seats out, as I want to clean under the seats properly as it's hard to reach places.

What size torx tool I need or any other tool.

Any tips, thanx guys.

you can by a new seal for the tandem pump, thats what i did, it much cheaper than buying a brand new one. check also the cambelt teeth, you could be out by 1 or 2 teeth.

have you checked if there is any leaks on top of your gearbox. i have forgotten what it was called, but i had to change the seal on that, im sure it was the fuel vacuum box thing. it is bolted on the side of the engine. if you remove the airbox and the induction pipes, it is located on the side. thi...
