Re: What alloys suit standard suspension?

Mine is standard with the 7 spoke sport alloys 15",though i have refurbed some 16" areo's,they are finished similar to the ones in my build thread. They are not polished now, they have been sprayed but i need to save up for some tyres.

Re: What shall I do with my new wheels?????

They look good as they are,but how about doing the inserts a contrasting colour?
Or see if you or someone can do a photoshop as that might give you a better idea on the colour scheme.

Are the fronts the same as the rears??

Evening people, ive got a standard ice set up,which doesn't sound to bad to be fair, better than most cars ive owned. Are the front speakers the same as the rears,ie same size, same frequency etc. My front speakers sound a bit more punchier on the bass notes(which is good)and rears dont appear as loud....

Ok thanks for the reply, sounds like it could be a costly repair then, dont know if i could justify spending the cash for that repair plus the turbo, does not sound good though.

Its done just over 91000 miles, would the oil seals/valve stems be expensive if that is the problem?

Bit of blue smoke at idle

Morning all,i couldn't really find the answer im looking for so i thought i would ask you experts. I think i know what the problem might be but i just want to confirm. When my car is started for the first time, everything appears fine, but as it gets to normal temp and on idle, you can see blue smoke,a...

Must admit ive come to like mine as well, :ymapplause: coming from a v40 T4. Re: camturbo

A small update, alloys are now on the back burner til the weather warms up. I treated all the black exterior trim to some c4 G-techniq(trim restorer) and it came up looking brand new, that was back in late nov. I have washed the car since, twice and it still looks good and hasnt faded either. Took a wh...

Re: Changing side lights.

Ive got xenons in mine and i changed both my sidelights and main beam in mine. I found it easier to dis-connect the battery, take the headlights out and undo the screws holding the discharge unit, which on mine cover up both the side lights and main beam bulbs. There might be another way but i found t...

zenon headlight bulb renewal or not??

Hi all,ive got xenon headlights with the d2s gas discharge bulbs in them,at least i think they are d2s bulbs. Anyway they have been on my car for 11yrs since new, though they seem bright is it worth changing them as ive heard they loose there intensity over a period of time. I changed the sidelights ...

I bought mine coz my previous car got written off(volvo v40 t4).It had to be an estate for all of my carp fishing gear, plus i needed something that not only looked good but had good build quality and what i could afford at the time.

Well there has been a slight disaster with the alloy re-furb,i had finished two wheels but they weren't perfect so i left them til the rest were finished.
