Hi all,not the most important question but hey ho,my vw badge that sits in the recess on the engine cover has come off. I have both parts,look like they are supposed to be glued.Its a metal vw emblem that is glued to a plastic back plate which sits on the engine cover. My question is,what glue can i...

They look good as they are,but how about doing the inserts a contrasting colour?
Or see if you or someone can do a photoshop as that might give you a better idea on the colour scheme.

Evening people,ive got a standard ice set up,which doesn't sound to bad to be fair,better than most cars ive owned. Are the front speakers the same as the rears,ie same size,same frequency etc. My front speakers sound a bit more punchier on the bass notes(which is good)and rears dont appear as loud....

A small update,i was going to wait til the weather warms up to do the alloys,but decided to make a start today. They have all had several coats of etch primer,then flatted back,then they have had a coat of filler primer then several heavy coats of filler primer and i have put a guide coat on as well...

Yep will keep an eye out for it, shouldn't be to hard to miss when you start to get your mods started.
You wont see my shiney ones as there has been a change of plan,one of the alloys had a nick on the spoke, you could see it a mile off,so they are all getting re-sprayed

There is alot of hard work gone into this one so far,you have a nice ride there mate.

Its done just over 91000 miles,would the oil seals/valve stems be expensive if that is the problem?

Hi all,the above question has now been fixed. It turned out to be a retainer spring on the brake caliper had come loose. So its all nice and quiet again Thanks to all those that responded
