Can anyone recommend anywhere in Hertfordshire (mid or north preferably, A1 passage) where I can get my dpf delete (bored out) or cleaned. If so, any idea how much?

My car is on it's knees so need one or the other.

073T also happen to be only available from the stealers at a whopping £500(ish) each!!! I must have rang a dozen car parts suppliers to be told this.

Mechanic took them out, took a photo of one and sent it to me.

PS. My injector code ends in 073T.

I just read on another site that it was 073D and 073M that were the issue. Maybe this is why mine isn't listed.

No it's not marked. I checked the VW website myself and punched in the VIN number and it came back as no recalls outstanding. Strange thing is, the website returned my car as a Highline, which isn't right as mine is an SEL. So just to double check I called my nearest main dealer in Letchworth Garden...

That's the slightly confusing bit. The mechanic took one injector out at a time and let it run and on taking out injector 1 the smoke reduced significantly. So it was swapped out for a new one. It then ran fine for about an hour. Got turned off, left for a number of hours, then turned back on again....

Checked coolant level. It doesn't appear to be dropping and it's been smoking for a while now.

Haven't checked coolant but garage has Delfi and VAG for 2.0 TDI's. Are VCDS' different/better?
