IF youre only after 200hp/400nm (a light remap) the standard clutch is fine (sachs or luk is fine, id go for Sachs personally)
And keep the DMF

So could I swap the lock mechanism and wiring over from the B5 to B5.5 tailgate? Are all mounting points the same? That would be ideal

Sorry to post here but mine has been hit and rear window smashed etc, I need a replacement in any colour ASAP please. Must be good condition with no rust.

My B5 estate was reversed into, and it looks to be much easier to source a B5.5 estate tailgate if it fits and wires up ok? It's need spraying anyway as B5 fjord blue tailgates without rust are like hens teeth!

But can I use the PD longlife III oil in my AFN?

It's just I also have an Audi A4 B8 3.0tdi and it takes the longlife III, so stocking just one spec of oil would be easier!

More expensive of course, but 20ltr is still only £77
