Re: Hand me down b5.5

Anyone tried the new looms from darkside developments I think it is? Thinking that's what's causing the horrible and annoying vibrations so was looking at getting a new one instead of buying a second hand one

Yeah its Unbelievably tight! I thought going by the threads it couldn't be that bad, washing up liquid helped massively to get it on but definitely seems to have helped!

Is there definitely no added vibrations with the black rubber mount over the standard one? Going to order one tomorrow from the local stealers along with new discs for a Saturday of work on the car..

Just a light misting then really? Only thing I can think of is that the colour won't match with a thin coat but to thick then the sensor won't work I suppose.1.9Tdi wrote:A very thin coat of spray paint worked on mine.E_KEL95 wrote:Is there anyway to paint the sensor's to match the bumper of a saloon so they still work?

Strange engine temp
Bit of a strange one I think, drive car as normal even in stationery traffic on a hot day the temp gauge is fine, but when driving up a hill on Sunday evening the temp gauge went to pretty much 90 and stayed there bare in mind wasn't warm as it was 12 at night, only seems to do it on this one hill a...

Had another look at this today, took the pipe off the turbo actuator gave it a rev and nothing the noise stopped, would this indicate the actuator is at fault?
