1988 1.8 GT Silver Estate 8 Valve

I had speedo wobble two years ago and it turned out to be a gearbox problem (the car was also lurching). When the gearbox was replaced, the speedo was fine. Mines a 1988 gt estate with a mechanical speedo cable. Hopefully your gearbox is fine but thought I'd pass the info on.

I appreciate that your posted message is over a year old but do you still have the interior from your silver Passat GT?

From your photo, it looks like my Passat is the same model and colour as yours
Although in otherwise excellent condition, the driver's seat is worn and a bit low.

i'm interested in the dog guard.

am i right in thinking that it is for the estate?

i have a 1988 gt estate and would like a guard to prevent luggage spilling forward in the event of an accident.

how does it fix in place?
