As the title suggests im looking for a detailer in the north east region the closer to Hartlepool the better. Im looking for advice on whats needed on my passat to get the paintwork looking better ( then if the price is right for the work to be done) then also my brothers merc needs a good detailing...

Yeah i never thought of the rope thing i will give that a try tomorrow and hopefully get it out then get the other side done then the rear

i tried spring compressors it just felt like they were gettin in the way, any particular direction to turn the wheel?
i had my gf keep it locked left which nearly had it

i have taken the ARB's off both sides and the 2 13mm bolts that were under the gromits and the bolt that connects the strut to the arm but i'm really struggling to get the strut off even with pushing the arm down im still about 10mm short. is there anything else i should be doing to get the strut out?

i have been search all week for how-to and all i found was that guide so thats why i started doin it that way

any advice on how to get those gromit off on the drivers side under the aircon pipes please?

btw i got the car on axle stands atm

these bolts circled in red and anthor in the engine bay outta the picture?

yeah i have been bashing the bolt tring the get the rest of it out but no luck yet, just sprayed it with wd40 and left if for a bit to soak so hopefully wil start to budge other wise its gonna be heat and replace the two top arms like u said

i wasnt fitting coilovers i was fitting lowering springs and the how to that i watched said to loosen that bolt, ahhh well u live and learn

also i hear 15mm and 20mm was nice but i got the front and rear mixed up hehe silly me

most are square 1mx1m one either side of the road some are tarmac based so are rounded and some have sharp angles so are very bumpy and have to take them at 10mph lol i hate them
