Looking for advice on how to orientate the 4 bushes on the rear sub frame before pressing them in. I can see 2cut outs on the new bushes but cannot see anything to line them up to.

Hi, Mines exactly the same....high cutch that feels like its on the way out but mines been like it since I got the car in 2008 and I tow a large caravan with mine and its never slipped. The revs bein slow to drop is the same on mine too think its because it has fly by wire throttle and thats the way...

Hi mate iI repaired both sides of mine with a pair of new flexis... welded them to the cat and then made up a clamp on fitting for the down pipe.

This is what I have, its brand new. I thought i had the inserts for the rear doors but when i got them out to photograph them they turned out to be a different colour.

Iv got a set of brand new net optic trim still in original packaging that im thinking of selling. It includes ashtray, centre suround and door handles and trim whats it worth?

Its the Audi system not the haldex.

Check the exhaust there big money.

I think the proper way is to open the bleed nipple and let the fluid out that way so as not to push it back throu the ABS unit.

I will try that dave but the male ends on the ccm look to be in good nick,its more difficult to see what the plug ends like..... another twist to the tail after faulting continually last night Ijust parked it up on the drive and left it, went to it after work today and every thing is back to normal ...

This can be when the battery does not have enough charge.

You really need to get it scaned else it can be just guess work I had similar to this a couple of weeks back and scaned it and it pointed to a problem with the ignition switch.... and after further investigation turned out to be a loose connector. heres the thread:- http://www.ukpassats.co.uk/phpbb/...

I put one on mine and that was easy enough suppose the sames true of removal there was a guide on here for doing it if you do a search you should find it... if not iv saved it to my hard drive so i could email you a copy.....One thing the bar replaces the bumper bar so you will need one of those. you could try taking all the plastic covers off.... cleaning all the oil away and then running it without the covers and see if you can tell where its coming from sorry cannot be more help.

Update. Took out and tested every fuse in car and removed and tested all the relays, all ok. I then removed the steering wheel cowling and took the plug off the back of the ignition switch and put it back on and all seems well ... re scaned it and no fault codes and its been locked an alarmed for 4 ...

Have you tried clearing the codes as some of them might be old and are obscurring the actual problem. If they all come back at the same time then there are several possible problems. Have you checked the ccm is dry under the carpet in the foot well. Theres no point just feeling the carpet, It's so ...

Hi mate,
mine wooshes quite a bit when i rev it.... dont forget theres some kind of air pump that starts up when the engine is first started its something to to with the cats and emissons and this can be quite noisy. The v6 is a very quiet and smooth engine so any other noise is more noticeable.

I think you will find Thats how they are.. mines high been like that since I had it 2 years ago and i tow with mine so its had a good test. If you search the posts on here theres lots of comment about it.

Check the exhaust there circa £1700 for a complete system.... also check the exhaust flexis just before the cats.
Make sure the engine under tray is on, these are expensive too and if it isnt fitted the tyres wear the wheel arch liners away. Also worth checking to see if cam belts been done.

Does anyone know what the torque figures are for the front drive shaft end bolt and the 6 m10 flange bolts which attach the drive shaft to the gear box. The cars a 51 plate 4 motion.
