Hi all, I found these two connectors, not connected to anything, under the gear lever gaiter of my B3. The wires on the larger one go forward, and backwards from the smaller one. Anyone know what they're for? I assume it's something to do with an auto box, but not sure. Cheers http://i63.tinypic.com...

You're right dude - if they were a fairly simple job I might have taken a punt but I think I'll give them a swerve.

Just been made aware of a bargain VRS interior near me, what do you think are the chances of this fitting easily into my B3 estate?

Right, I've got hold of a B4 glass sunroof and I'm going to create a hybrid B4/B3 steel sunroof with the B4 internals. I'll let you know how I get on!

This happens after it gets its new sills next week, though...

Does it have a sunroof?

Mine's got silver; it definitely couldn't be called chrome.

Speaking as a long-term Corrado owner as well as a B4 owner, you DO NOT want a Corrado sunroof in your car. They are notoriously unreliable, usually will tilt but not slide and end up being replaced with Golf or Passat B4 units. I have never had a problem with the glass B4 unit. Thanks for the tip....

Does anyone know if the sunroof mechanism from a Corrado is the same as the Passat B3?

I'm needing new cables and probably runners but can't get hold of B3 parts, but there are loads of Corrado sunroofs on eBay.

Right, cheers for all that! All I was looking for was mods for my B3 Estate but it seems there isn't that many.

Having thought about it I'm going to avoid the leather swap because I really like the GT cloth and it's in reasonable condition - just needs a clean-up.
